A Bicycle Built For Two

We had a bit of fun at the first Twilight Race with well known sponsor Hughie Lewis and fellow competitor Stephen Keal. Rear Commodore John Mills led a sing-a-long to the tune of "A bicycle built for two." with the following words. If you want to know what it's about ask Hughie or Kealy.
Verse 1
Hughie, Hughie
What are you gonna do
We thought maybe
We’d get a gift for you
You might be a little rusty
But the beamers getting dusty
And you’ll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two.
Verse 2
Kealy, Kealy
What are you gonna do
We thought maybe
You’d need some transport too
It won’t be a total disaster
The room is full of laughter
And you’ll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two.
Dave O'May undergoing a refit
The clubs workhorse Dave O'May is undergoing a much needed winter refit. So far the boat has been stripped internally in preparation for internal abrasive blasting and repaint. New steel cockpit floor and engine box and a stainless fuel tank should make a more efficient layout for the crew.

The refloating of the Seahawk II
With a small team of workers and a larger team of spectators and advisors, the Seahawk was refloated on a fine sunny Friday afternoon. Although at times the spectators and advisors outnumbered the workers, a good time was had by all and our thanks must go to Kenny Lane for setting it up for us. Thanks Kenny
