The Bellerive Yacht Club incorporates magnificent function facilities providing for weddings, dinners, cocktail parties, meetings, and all special occasions. On the shores of Kangaroo Bay, on Hobart’s eastern shore, the club overlooks the largest marina on the Derwent River with views to Mount Wellington and is only ten minutes drive or by Water Taxi from the Hobart City centre offering ample off street car parking.
Anchors Room incorporates a dance floor and can comfortably seat 160 guests for dinner, while the Marina Room, opening onto the Marina courtyard is an ideal venue for a cocktail party, birthday or anniversary celebration, seminar or business meeting. All areas are facing north for maximum sunlight taking advantage of the wonderful outlook.
A wide range of high quality food services to meet your catering requirements are available from our kitchen. Our kitchen offers a wide range of styles providing a comprehensive choice made from fresh, healthy and quality ingredients sourced where possible from Tasmanian produce. While offering suggested menu selections our Chef welcomes the opportunity to discuss individual requirements and preferences to provide the most suitable combinations and types of dishes.
All areas offer a comprehensive bar service including a wide choice of quality wines at highly competitive prices. Function Coordinator, Susie Brooks, offers many years of experience in assisting in the planning of your special occasion.
