The BYC Social Golf Club was formed in July 2009 with the intention of providing BYC members the opportunity to play on a different course each month without the need to join an affiliated Golf Club.
The first game at Llanherne saw nearly 40 players take to the course to enjoy a game of stableford golf under the direction of Captain Graham Chatfield. Games have since been played on a variety of courses around Southern Tasmania and are generally held monthly.
After the first twelve months Kristian Clayton has taken over as Captain from Graham.
